Lynn and I had an opportunity to be in a primary classroom to teach a geography lesson comparing Canada’s geography to Tanzania’s. The students, with the help of their teacher, were very eager to learn about the animals of Canada, capitals, borders, oceans, lakes and rivers. We also learned a lot about Tanzania from them. The class began quite timidly but soon there was lots of energy and many hands flying up to contribute answers and questions.
