It was wonderful recently to host our ABCD Director John de Ronde while he was travelling from the UK to visit family members here in Ontario.
During his visit with us, John was an invited guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Newmarket where he spoke about his own initiative in helping the villages of Lyamungo Sinde, Tanzania, through the work of ABCD UK which he founded recently.
We are very happy to have John on the Board of ABCD Canada due to his experience and knowledge of Tanzanian culture and way of life. John also visits Tanzania for several months of the year. Happily, we were also able to hold a full ABCD Board Meeting during John’s visit! Come back again John.
