Augustine is a quiet young man. He was born on June 10, 1989. Augustine is attending Ifati Secondary School in Form 4. His schooling has been frequently interrupted because of lack of school fees and illness.

He is a shy boy and is living with sister (Selena, also in the ABCD program) and aunt and uncle who also have 6 of their own children and 3 grandchildren in their care.

Augustine’s academic performance was better last year and his teacher commented that if he works hard he might gain entrance to a primary school teacher’s college. He enjoys playing football. His drawing for us of a bus shows remarkable ability in the blending of colour and use of observed detail.
