Christina Yuda Mbuya

Christina is a sweet little girl who dreams of becoming a doctor one day. There are 3 other younger children in the family: Emanuelli (5) and Dativa (2) and Agnes (1).

Mom Judith and dad Yuda met us with the children at the same home where we met last year. This family is very poor as could be seen by the children’s clothing.

Christina is attending Kichilioni Primary School where she is in grade 4. Her school reports that last year she stood at position 20 out of 34 students and missed no days of school. Her highest mark was English 78%. Christina loves to draw and for her Canadian supporters drew many pictures of objects such as a ruler, car, chicken, cups, fish and a person. She likes to use a different colour for each object.
