David is a captivating boy who dreams of becoming a builder one day. He lives with his grandpa Ewald and grandmother Anna. David has no brothers or sisters and has not seen his parents since birth.

He was hospitalized for a year as a baby after a childhood accident involving a head injury. David attends Kilaremo Primary School and is in Grade 4. He missed 12 days of school last year and his marks are reported as average.

David brought some drawings he had done at home and for his Canadian supporters he has drawn a helicopter, a house with a blue roof, a boy on a bicycle, and a woman driving a car.
