Rose Deo Msechu
10 years old

Rose is a very amiable little girl who dreams of becoming a doctor one day. Her birthday is November 15, 2000. She lives with her parents Cecilia and Deo and six siblings.

Rose is attending Kilaremo Primary School in Grade 4. Rose’s father is unable to work because of poor health. Cecilia earns some income from operating a fruit stand at the local market and by raising sheep. Rose missed 10 days of school last year due to illness but still earned very good marks. She earned one A, six Bs and two Cs! Her favourite subject is history.

Rose received a book award at the ABCD Art Day Awards ceremony. Her school reports improvement in her academic performance every year. Rose draws very accomplished pictures of butterflies, flowers, birds, people and animals.
