Selena Leon Temu

Selena is a lovely young woman who dreams of becoming a primary school teacher one day. Her schooling has been frequently interrupted for lack of payment of school fees.

Both her parents died of HIV/AIDS when she was very young. Selena lives with their aunt and uncle who have 6 children of their own and 3 grandchildren. The family is very poor and so proper nutrition is a problem. Selena’s uncle is away from home for long periods of time looking for work.

Unfortunately Selena has not passed Form 4 and so ABCD is looking into an alternative school for her to attend or perhaps vocational training.
