Yasinta Linus Lyimo
8 years old

Yasinta is a smiling little girl who dreams of becoming a nun or a doctor one day. She lives with her mother Pamela and father Linus. Yasinta has two little brothers, Manuel and James. The family lives in extreme poverty and is very appreciative of the support that ABCD is providing.

Yasinta is attending Kisuluni Primary School in Grade 3. Last year’s report states that her marks were ‘good’ and she earned one A, three Bs, and a C! She stood at 10 out of 35 students in her class. This is an improvement over the previous report.

For her efforts Yasinta was awarded a reading book at the ABCD Art Day Awards ceremony. This year’s drawings by Yasinta are very playful and she loves to label her pictures with Swahili names.
