Leavin’ on a Jet Plane-Tanzania 2010

Just a quick post to start what we hope will be a series of posts about our Jan. 2010 trip to Kilimanjaro. We’re meeting at the airport in a couple of hours for our 5:55 pm departure to Amsterdam and then on to Kilimanjaro Airport. Lynn, Robyn and I are very excited. A lot of planning has gone into this trip and we have a busy itinerary to accomplish. We are looking forward so much to seeing all the children again and visiting their homes and schools.

It is so great to have Robyn Zolnai along as a volunteer to take charge of the photographic and video documentation of the trip! Just by way of introduction…Robyn is a former student of mine from high school who went on to study Fine Arts in university specializing in photography, and she is now about to re-enter university for her Master’s Degree. So we have a well qualified camera man with us!
